Paul is a tour de force in the plastic surgery world and has pioneered many areas of aesthetic practice in the contemporary era.

These include being a global leader in medical skin care education, the first to introduce in-clinic psychological support for cosmetic surgery in the UK and the founder of the International Breast Implant Ultrasound surveillance programme (IBIUS); he is also a Harvard Professor and a best-selling medical author. Mentored by a Nobel Prize-nominee, he is now also leading the way in the UK with innovative breast enhancement techniques such as The Ballerina Breast and tissue preservation cosmetic breast surgery – Mia Femtech and Motiva Preservé.

The Renaissance Surgeon

Dubbed the ‘Renaissance Surgeon’ previously by the Tatler Cosmetic Surgery & Beauty Guide, Dr Paul has a wide range of interests outside of his surgical expertise. A creative by nature, one of his main passions is collecting art. His love of art, architecture and interior design influences his surgical practice as does his lifelong interest in health and well-being. A high achiever in the sporting arena, he was offered a professional cricket contract and also represented Great Britain in martial arts. Since then he has also run the London Marathon for charity, numerous half marathons and enjoys skiing, surfing  and cycling.

Furthermore, whilst he can lay claim to a love of watches and fast cars, his more unusual interests include writing, Japanese gardens, niwaki and collecting Japanese swords and tsubas.
